According to Americayya.net, Jonathan dos Santos is leaving Club América, having joined on 23 December 2021.
He grew into the side, a regular under Santiago Solari. After the arrival of 'Tano' Ortiz he lost prominence and even considered retiring.

André Jardine then took charge and told him he would be in his plans, so Dos Santos renewed his contract. He went on to lift six trophies as an undisputed starter and a key part of the system.
He made more than 160 appearances for América. A polished passer with leadership, he rose to the captaincy.
Replacing his influence will be difficult. It is not official, but there is talk he will retire from professional football.
