Leeds United have begun bolstering for a Premier League survival push, sealing Facundo Buonanotte on a six-month loan from Brighton and Hove Albion and assessing further January additions.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the 21-year-old initially chose Stamford Bridge over Elland Road for 2025/26. After only 45 minutes of league football at Chelsea, he moved to reverse that and could address the right wing or No.10 vacancy from the summer.
With two weeks left, Leeds have enquired about Wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen, underlining a striker search. Soon after Buonanotte’s arrival, reports also pointed to interest in another Premier League attacker.
In goal, summer signing Lucas Perri has settled as first choice, mixing sharp saves with a few avoidable errors.
When fit, Joe Rodon is a fixture despite a recent ankle issue. Interest in Daniel Doekhi has been noted, but defence is not thought to be a priority unless injuries alter it.
Jaka Bijol has impressed since the move to a back three, free to dominate opposition strikers. He is central to recent improvement.
Pascal Struijk has also thrived in the back three, swiftly silencing pre-season doubts. His left foot aids build-up.
Jayden Bogle suits wing-back, relishing both sides of the role. James Justin’s form raises competition, yet Bogle’s superior attacking threat keeps him ahead.
Ethan Ampadu has set the tone in midfield, adding bite and long throws as a handy weapon. He is equally comfortable anchoring in any shape.
