A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga outfit RCD Mallorca has made his way onto the radar of Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahçe.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Portuguese outlet O Jogo, who point towards Vedat Muriqi as the player in question.
The brass at José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe, it is understood, are on the lookout for reinforcements at centre-forward with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign.
This comes amid a concerted push on the part of Saudi giants Al-Nassr to bring in Youssef En-Nesyri.
Should such efforts prove to be successful, then Fener are expected to quickly turn their attentions towards a deal for the aforementioned Muriqi.
The Istanbul-based outfit would be willing to part with a sum in the region of €10 million to land the Kosovo international.
Muriqi, for his part, has previous experience lining out in the colours of Fenerbahçe, having enjoyed an altogether fruitful campaign on the books of the Süper Lig giants back in 2019/20.
