Chelsea reportedly want to sign a different attacker profile to what they already have in Nicolas Jackson and Liam Delap.
Chelsea beat Los Angeles FC 2-0 in their Club World Cup opening group game on Monday night in what was a very strange and subdued atmosphere in front of just 22,000 people in a huge stadium.
It was far from vintage Chelsea but in the end they just got the job done and three points on the board to set them up for a good starts.
The goals came from a lovely Nicolas Jackson assist to Pedro Neto to finish in the first half. And then new signing Liam Delap also provided a superb assist for Enzo Fernandez to run into the box and tap in to score.
As well as his assist on Monday night, he had a really good first cameo in Chelsea blue and really did look the part as a Blues number 9.
He is certainly a very strong profile and has added something up top that Chelsea really have lacked for some time now – a true physical presence.

Journalist Ben Jacobs, writing for GIVEMESPORT, says that Chelsea want a different profile to Nicolas Jackson and Liam Delap and have subsequently removed Benjamin Sesko off their list.
Chelsea will apparently be opportunistic for Morgan Rogers should he genuinely become available, but Aston Villa are looking at other exists to satisfy PSR.
West Ham are reportedly willing to sell Mohammed Kudus for less than his £85m release clause, but it’s unclear whether anything will develop, per the report.
