Bologna FC 1909 can announce that Juan Miranda has joined the Club on a permanent deal.

Born in Olivares, Spain, Juan Miranda is a defender born in 2000. Coming up through the Real Betis youth sector, at 14 he moved to Barcelona where he would make his senior debut in 2018, picking up a total of 4 appearances that season for the club that won the league and the Supercopa.

The 2019/20 season saw him go out on loan to Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga. In the 2020/21 season, he went back out on loan to Real Betis, then joining them on a permanent deal in 2021. He won the Copa del Rey with the Spanish side in the 2021/22 season, scoring the winning penalty in the shootout against Valencia (1-1 FT, 5-4 on pens).

At an international level, Juan Miranda has represented Spain in various youth sides, winning the u17 Euros in 2017 and silver at the World Cup. He went on to win the U19 Euros in 2019 and a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2022. He has also played for the Spanish  Under-21 side, drawing the attention of the senior team with whom he has made one appearance and scored one goal (against Lithuania).

He joins the Rossoblù from July 2024 on a permanent deal.
