Julian Alvarez stunned Camp Nou with a sublime free-kick, beating Barça goalkeeper Joan Garcia in Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg.

Moments after Pau Cubarsi was sent off for a foul on Giuliano Simeone as the last defender, Atlético de Madrid earned a centrally placed free-kick about 20 metres out.
The Argentine forward whipped a right-footed effort over the wall and into Garcia’s left top corner.
It was his ninth goal of this Champions League season, leaving him one behind Anthony Gordon, two behind Harry Kane and five behind Kylian Mbappé.
