Jonathan David continued his improved run of form as Juventus swept aside Napoli with a convincing 3-0 win, with the Canadian forward opening the scoring and reflecting on a season he feels is finally clicking into place.

Speaking to DAZN after the match, via TuttoJuve, David highlighted his growing confidence and sense of progression since arriving in Turin.

“Yes, I’m improving this season,” he said. “I can really feel that growth, not just individually but also within the team.”

The goal against Napoli took David to four league goals and six in all competitions, numbers that reflect a steady upward curve after a more difficult start.

For the striker, a key moment in that journey came earlier in the season after a missed penalty, an episode that, rather than setting him back, helped unlock something mentally.

“For me, that was the turning point,” David explained.

“From that moment, an important phase of growth began. I’ve always felt the coach’s confidence in me, and that shows on the pitch.”

That trust from Luciano Spalletti has been central to David’s adaptation, with Juventus increasingly benefiting from his movement, sharpness and composure in front of goal.

David also revealed the lighter side of his evening, explaining the celebration that followed his opener.

“The celebration was something we thought of today, quite quickly,” he said with a smile. “You serve the coffee and then you drink it together.”

It was a relaxed moment on a dominant night for Juventus, and another sign of a forward growing into his role at the heart of Spalletti’s side.
