Juventus are starting to grow pessimistic about reuniting with Randal Kolo Muani due to PSG’s considerable demands and are exploring different strikers to round out their frontline. The Ligue 1 champions ask for a €60/70M in a permanent deal, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

The Frenchman is determined to return to Turin and will consider other options only late in the window. He’s willing to shave his salary a little compared to his time in the French capital and would earn €7M annually if he were to transfer back to Italy.

The gap is still significant since Juventus have put €50M on the table for Kolo Muani. Among the fallbacks, Lois Openda is gaining steam, but RB Leipzig are a tough bargainer and have already sold Benjamin Sesko. He has posted 41 goals and 18 assists in 91 matches in Germany.

The Bianconeri like Rasmus Hojlund too, but he’s close to Napoli. Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku have been proposed to them and to many other teams. Aston Villa are in pole position for the former. Ademola Lookman could become a target if Atalanta lowered their request.

Our Take on Juventus and Kolo Muani

Despite their optimism, primarily fueled by the player’s eagerness, splurging on another striker is a very taxing proposition until Dusan Vlahovic is still with them. The good news is that the Serb has remained engaged throughout the saga and is unfazed by it, so at least they can count on him on the pitch. If they pivot, the fallback would have to be more affordable than the aforementioned strikers. Stylistically, they could use an old-fashioned bruiser to be more assorted.
