Juventus and Dusan Vlahovic will discuss a new contract after the winter transfer window, but according to Repubblica, the Serbian forward will be in the same situation as Federico Chiesa and Weston McKennie next summer if he doesn’t pen a new deal.
Juventus are preparing to continue contract talks with Vlahovic as the striker’s current deal runs out in June 2026.
It is no secret that Juventus want to spread Vlahovic’s €12m-a-year wages onto a longer deal, and according to Repubblica, the Bianconeri are ready to propose an €8m-a-year contract to their star striker.
It’s less than what Vlahovic expects, so it’s not guaranteed that the two parties will reach an agreement quickly.

As reported by Repubblica, this means Vlahovic has three options: sign a new contract with a lower salary, bring an offer from a club interested in his signature or stay for the final year of his contract.
However, in this case, Juventus could freeze Vlahovic out of the squad, waiting for a summer offer or trying to convince their striker to sign a new contract.
Chiesa and McKennie were in exactly the same situation last summer when they trained separately from the rest of the team for many weeks.
The Italian was not even part of Motta’s plans, and the player said he had never received a formal contract extension offer from the Bianconeri.
Chiesa left Juventus for Liverpool in August, while McKennie returned to training with the first team after signing a contract extension until 2026.
