According to Glorioso 1904, Francisco Conceição could be included in Juventus’s squad for the home Champions League tie against Benfica, with the 23-year-old Portugal international pushing to be fit.

The former Porto winger has been out with a physical problem and has not played since 3 January, when he was injured in a home draw with Lecce. Since then, Juventus’s medical staff have worked to resolve the issue and speed his return.

Given the game’s importance for Juventus’s Champions League prospects, having Conceição available is considered a priority. The coaching staff, mindful of the challenge Benfica will pose, want every option on the bench and the left-footer is one of them.

Benfica, who could be without an important player, arrive in a difficult position in the standings. José Mourinho’s side are 25th with six points from six matches, recording two wins and four defeats and a goal difference of minus two.
