Tuttosport newspaper reports that Juventus are determined to strengthen their midfield department in January, with ex-Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic among their top targets.

Juventus are prepared to welcome midfield reinforcements in the January transfer window, as club directors have realised that there’s a quality gap in the middle of the park compared to direct domestic rivals.

Milinkovic-Savic is a long-time Juventus target, and according to Tuttosport, Comolli and Tudor feel the Serbia international could contribute to closing the quality gap with Inter, Milan and Napoli.

Juventus remain interested in Morten Hjulmand as well, but the Sporting CP captain is seen as a potential summer target rather than a possible reinforcement in the winter transfer window.
