Juventus are in talks with PSG to bring back Randal Kolo Muani, but the negotiation is proving to be arduous despite the player’s preference. Their officials have begun considering other options like Rasmus Hojlund and Darwin Nunez, Mediaset reports.

The Ligue 1 champions are driving a hard bargain because they believe they’ll be able to sell their misfit outright. Instead, the Bianconeri are offering a loan with an option to buy. There’s a gap also regarding the valuation of the player, which is worth at least €50M in the seller’s mind.

Hojlund isn’t less expensive, but Manchester United could be more open to sending him to Juventus on an initial temporary spell. They’ll need to find a new striker first. He’s not necessarily eager to leave, as he has a very long-term contract.

Instead, Napoli gave up the chase for Darwin Nunez because Liverpool value him €60M. Al-Hilal are hot on his trail and would be the frontrunners if he were open to transferring to Saudi Arabia.

Our Take on Juventus, Kolo Muani, and Other Strikers

They aren’t super similar, but they have kind of made their choice between Jonathan David and the PSG outcast, picking the former also for economic reasons. The conditions would have to be very favorable for a reunion, but it doesn’t appear to be the case. They probably won’t sign anybody until they sort out the Dusan Vlahovic mess and just keep him as their deputy if they can’t. Nunez would make more sense for them than for Napoli, given the traits of their contributors, as he’d round out their frontline nicely, but the costs to sign him are prohibitive.
