Roma needs to increase revenue ahead of June 30th to comply with the settlement agreement with UEFA.
With three days to go, time is running out.
Currently, the only way to increase revenue is to generate capital gains through the sale of certain players.
Among these, Mile Svilar, a key figure for the Giallorossi, is unlikely to be considered.
For the goalkeeper, indispensable to Gasperini, a window of opportunity had opened up in the last few hours to remain in Italy and leave the capital. Juventus, in fact, are searching for a goalkeeper and have approached Roma to sign the 1999-born player.
For Gian Piero Gasperini, Mile Svilar is unsellable.
As reported by Repubblica, sporting director Tony D’Amico is of the same opinion and has rejected the only approach, which so far has been from Juventus. The Bianconeri have sounded out the player, suggesting an offer of €35 million.
Roma’s response? No. The Giallorossi won’t even sit down at the negotiating table unless they find a club willing to negotiate on a €60 million basis.
