Juventus are prepared to make a significant financial sacrifice to secure the signing of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker this summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, manager Luciano Spalletti is the driving force behind the pursuit. Spalletti managed the Brazilian during their time together at Roma and views his arrival as a priority for the new project in Turin. Alisson currently earns €6m per season at Anfield, a figure Juventus believe they can match to bring a player of his experience and global profile back to Serie A.
The main challenge lies in convincing Liverpool to part with the player, as his current contract runs until 2027. However, the existing relationship between Spalletti and Alisson is seen as the key factor that could facilitate a deal. Juventus view the veteran goalkeeper as a transformative signing and are ready to invest heavily to reunite the pair at the Allianz Stadium.
