Juventus send strong message to Galatasaray over rising star

According to reports from Sportmediaset and Bianconera News, Galatasaray have set their sights on Juventus’ Portuguese wide player Alberto Costa, making an enquiry in recent days. The Turkish club’s interest follows a string of impressive displays from Costa during the ongoing Club World Cup in the United States. Despite not being counted among Juventus’ automatic starters, Costa drew positive attention for his energetic contributions on the flank, even as the team endured a heavy defeat against Manchester City.

Galatasaray’s approach, however, was rebuffed decisively by Juventus. Sources indicate the Bianconeri delivered an unequivocal “no” to any possible transfer at this stage. Having only acquired Costa in January, Juventus remain committed to integrating him, seeing enough promise in his early performances to resist any temptation to part ways so soon.

While Costa is not firmly established as a first-team regular, his development in Turin appears to be a point of interest for the current technical staff. The logic behind Juventus’ refusal is straightforward—the club is reluctant to entertain bids for a player they are still evaluating, especially after recent flashes of potential in a high-profile competition.

For Galatasaray, the attempt underscores their desire for attacking reinforcements as they look to strengthen key positions ahead of the new season. However, with the summer window still young, the emphatic response from Juventus suggests there is no room for negotiation regarding Costa’s immediate future.
