Juventus star speaks out on Real Madrid links | OneFootball

Juventus star Andrea Cambiaso has this weekend publicly responded to the recent speculation linking him with a move to Spain, with Real Madrid.

The name of versatile defender Cambiaso has emerged as a prominent one in the media in Spain’s capital over the last couple of weeks.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the Italian international had been earmarked as a potential winter target on the part of the Real Madrid brass.

With Dani Carvajal condemned to a long-term spell on the sidelines, Carlo Ancelotti’s squad is all of a sudden looking short on options at full-back.

Cambiaso, capable of lining out on either side of a back-4, or at wing-back, has in turn been rumoured as a possible replacement.

Speaking to the media this weekend, the 24-year-old was himself therefore drawn on the ongoing speculation linking him with a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Safe to say, however, that Cambiaso could not have been much more dismissive with his response.

In quotes gathered by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Italian assured:

“Juve is my Real Madrid. I renewed until 2029 and I would like to stay as long as possible, that’s my plan.”
