Serie A giants Juventus have stepped up their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario as they look to secure a new number one ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Luciano Spalletti’s side are determined to bring Vicario back to Italy after an underwhelming season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Juventus have initiated direct preliminary contacts with Vicario’s representatives to gauge the player’s willingness to return to Italy and hope to capitalise on a period of transition in North London, with manager Roberto De Zerbi actively reshaping the Spurs squad.

While Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez has been Juventus’ top target since the club accepted defeat in their bid to sign Alisson, Juventus are encountering difficulties in completing a deal for the World Cup winner and now appear set to turn to alternative options once again.
