According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are exploring a summer move for Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva, who is approaching the end of his contract, but a significant obstacle remains.
The Turin club have also shortlisted Leon Goretzka, approaching the end of his Bayern Munich deal, while any move for Sandro Tonali would require a major outlay to Newcastle.
To even consider advancing for the 31-year-old Portugal international, Juventus need to finish Serie A in the Champions League places. They are currently sixth.
A top-four finish would shape their summer plans, and a 2026/27 Champions League berth would automatically inject around 60 to 70 million euros into the club’s finances.
That windfall could enable free transfers for Bernardo Silva and Goretzka. The Benfica academy graduate is said to believe his nine-year cycle at Manchester City has ended, and that it is time for a new chapter.
