Igor Tudor says Kenan Yildiz won’t rest in Juventus’ away game at Como, while Edon Zhegrova won’t be available due to a hip injury.
Juventus coach Tudor previewed Sunday’s Serie A clash against Como at a pre-match press conference.
It’s the first game after the international break in October, and Juventus are still unbeaten in 2025-26.
“Few players were here [during the break], we needed to recover, so we gave the players some days off. McKennie arrived yesterday, and everyone came back in good shape, without injuries. We’ve had two training sessions together to prepare for the match,” Tudor said via Ilbianconconero.com.
“It’s a tough game; Como are a fake small team; they’ve spent a lot of money, and the coach personally chose all the players, which is rare and a really good thing. We respect them, but we want to go there and play our game.”
Tudor has been using a 3-4-2-1 formation this season, but does not rule out changing the system.
“It might happen or it might not, I’m not going to talk about what we are preparing,” he said.

Later on, he was asked whether, in future games, not necessarily against Como, he might switch to a four-man defence.
“I’ve used 3-4-3 for many years,” Tudor replied.
“That is what the team has been doing for several months, but maybe we can try something different. There are issues, absences. All options are open.”
Juventus are still unbeaten in Serie A and Champions League, but visit Como on the back of five consecutive draws across all competitions.
“Normally, people talk about Juventus, even those who aren’t coaches or directors,” he said.
“That’s the beauty of football. Everyone has their own idea about what’s best to do, but the coach knows the players better than anyone.
“Everyone says: ‘We are Juventus, we have to win.’ That’s right. If you don’t win all the discussions means very little, but I have to give my perspective and explain it. Those who are intellectually honest will understand. For a coach, it’s difficult. If you don’t win at Juve, you can say whatever you want, but you are still wrong.”
Kenan Yildiz scored three goals in two games with the Turkish national team during the break, but when asked whether the Turk could rest tomorrow, Tudor replied with a smile: “No, he won’t.”
Edon Zhegrova arrives for his Juventus medical.
The Juventus coach then added: “He’s always played behind the striker with me, and he has the freedom to find spaces where he feels more comfortable. He plays wide for the national team and is doing great. If Yildiz is the problem, then we have no problems at all. Great work from him and my staff; he’s grown a lot.
“I make mistakes, but I analyse them with my staff. Every day, from morning to night, I think about how to help my players, what I can create and how to get the best out of them.”
Tudor said Fabio Miretti should return to group training on Monday, but revealed Zhegrova won’t travel to Turin due to a “hip problem.”
