Juventus have set out their summer plans with key dates and a familiar preseason structure, according to Spazio J. After an early exit from the Club World Cup—falling 1-0 to Real Madrid—the squad have begun a three-week holiday, but preparations for 2025-26 will start swiftly once the break concludes.

The club will reconvene at the Continassa training centre on 24 July, marking the beginning of their preseason camp. Notably, the first day will include new arrival Jonathan David, whose transfer from Lille is due for completion after he undergoes medical tests and signs his contract in Turin.

Following a brief initial phase in Italy, Juventus will relocate to Herzogenaurach, Germany, on 2 August. This will be the second consecutive year the club bases its training at Adidas’s headquarters, indicating a preference for the controlled environment and resources on offer. The German stay is expected to be focused on tactical work, conditioning, and building squad cohesion, especially as new faces integrate into the group.

A key fixture of the summer is the scheduled friendly against Borussia Dortmund in Dortmund on 10 August. The match offers an early indicator of the team’s progress and provides an opportunity to see how the refreshed squad competes against strong European opposition. As last preseason, Juventus are anticipated to return to Turin afterward to continue training and fine-tune their tactical setup ahead of the new campaign.

The competitive season will get underway on 24 August, when Juventus host Parma at the Allianz Stadium in their Serie A opener, with kickoff at 20:45. With new signings and a shortened preparation window, the squad will aim to hit the ground running following a tumultuous previous season.

The preseason calendar is defined by both continuity—the return to Germany and the Dortmund friendly—and renewal, with incoming signings joining a group looking to re-establish itself at the domestic and continental level after recent disappointments in major competitions.
