Kaio César on talks with Corinthians and eagerness to land in Brazil

The forward Kaio César, soon to become the fourth reinforcement for Corinthians this season, spoke for the first time about the negotiation and commented on the timeline for his arrival in Brazil and at Timão, after the Al-Hilal match.

After the Saudi team's 4-1 victory, a match in which he entered in the second half, Kaio confirmed that the negotiation with Corinthians is already settled and revealed his excitement about the move, along with a defined timeline for his arrival in Brazil.

“So, everything is set (with Corinthians). In my mind, everything is set as well. They gave me a timeline here. I believe that everyone around me knows my desire, knows what I want, knows my wish now. Everyone knows, my family knows, the directors, the coach, everyone knows my desire. Now it's just a matter of waiting a bit, controlling the excitement. The excitement was even better, but it's about waiting and whatever God wills,” he stated.

At 21 years old, the athlete made a point to show affection and respect for Al-Hilal, where he is expected to play for the last time this weekend before officially transferring on loan to Timão.

“I am still wearing the Al-Hilal jersey, so I have to respect the club I am at. I have to respect the club that opened its doors to me, the club that always treated me well, the fans, everyone. So, until my last day here, I will defend this jersey with great respect.”

It is worth noting that the deal between Corinthians and Al Hilal was defined with Kaio César's one-season loan, 500 thousand euros (about 3.1 million) for the loan, plus a purchase option set at 6 million euros (about 36 million reais) for 50% of the player's rights. Kaio is expected to arrive next week and could be available for the game against Flamengo in the Supercopa do Brasil if his documentation and presence in the BID are resolved in time.
