Kaizer Chiefs have been handed a major boost ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup clash against Egyptian giants Zamalek SC at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday (15h00).

The Soweto giants will be eager to get off the mark in Group D as they currently sit in third place after losing their group stage opener to Egyptian side Al Masry SC last Sunday.

Meanwhile, the White Knights will be keen to consolidate their spot at the summit of the table, having secured a dominant win over Zesco United of Zambia last week Saturday.

Ahead of the highly anticipated encounter, Chiefs have been boosted by the return of Wandile Duba, Khanyisa Mayo, who both didn't travel to North Africa last week.

On the other hand, experienced playmaker Gaston Sirino is also available for selection after missing the curtain raiser due to suspension.

Furthermore, Nkanyiso Shinga and Luke Baartman are part of the Chiefs squad gearing up for the crucial encounter in Polokwane. However, the duo is yet to officially debut for Amakhosi.

On the downside, Chiefs are without Fiacre Ntwari and Glody Lilepo, who are both still injured, while Aden McCarthy is not part of the squad for reasons unknown at this stage.
