Tottenham Hotspur’s Lenna Gunning-Williams scored what looked to be the only goal of the game 19 minutes in, powering a header in off the post.

However, Netherlands scrambled an equaliser through captain and Everton midfielder Rosa van Gool in the sixth minute of stoppage time to incredibly earn a draw.

It’s the third successive time the Netherlands have scored in stoppage time to secure a 1-1 draw with the U23 Lionesses.

It came just a few days after a 1-0 win over France earlier in the week, which sealed their place in the semi-finals of the WU23 European Competition where they will take on the Dutch again in April.
