Over the past couple of days, Real Madrid were sweating over the fitness of superstar forward Kylian Mbappe as he was not training with the rest of the group.
With the French striker working inside the gym facilities, reports emerged claiming that he was dealing with knee discomfort, leading to doubts over his availability for the game against Real Sociedad on Saturday night.
But, as confirmed earlier today, Mbappe was back fit and training with the rest of the group, in what came as a big relief for Real Madrid.
Building on that, AS reports that the 27-year-old forward is expected to start for the Merengues against La Real tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabeu.
After two days away from the pitch, the French forward returned to full training with the group, showing normality and positive sensations, confirming that there were no injuries or concerns.

Mbappe’s absence from group training sessions over the past couple of days was purely precautionary. The medical staff opted to manage his workload carefully – and the response has been positive.
“He’s fine. He’s trained with the group and is available for tomorrow’s match,” manager Alvaro Arbeloa confirmed in his press conference earlier today.
As such, the France captain is expected to feature from the start tomorrow against Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu.
So far this season, Mbappe has plundered 38 goals in 31 matches in all competitions, emerging as the team’s best player and one of Europe’s most lethal strikers.
Therefore, the former PSG superstar’s return to fitness and availability, going up against a Real Sociedad team that has strung together a nine-game unbeaten run, will be a huge boost for Arbeloa.
