Isaan Khan of the Daily Mail reports that Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney is in the squad for the Champions League match against Sporting CP on Tuesday.
Tierney has now been in full training with the team for the last week, following his recent return to fitness. But this will be his first appearance in an Arsenal squad since his substitute showing in the 2023 Community Shield win over Manchester City.

The defender went on to make 26 appearances on loan for Real Sociedad in the remainder of the 2023/24 season, with his minutes limited by a couple of hamstring injuries.
Tierney got fit in time to travel to Euro 2024 with Scotland, but he suffered an even worse hamstring setback during their group game against Switzerland.
The 27-year-old returned to training at London Colney in September, but he then appeared to suffer a setback. As a result, it was another two months before he was finally involved in full training with the squad.

Scottish outlet Daily Record have suggested that the next month or two may represent somewhat of an audition for Tierney, amid links with a January transfer.
Charles Watts recently reported that Arsenal had planned to sell or loan Tierney in the summer, and they likely would have if not for his injury.
Even once he’s fully fit, the expectation is that Tierney won’t be central to Arteta’s plans, but you never know how things might change now that he’s making his comeback.
