Manchester United were pushed to their absolute limit as they drew 4-4 with Bournemouth on Monday night.

While Man United dominated proceedings and restored their lead on four occasions, it was a match of end-to-end action whereby the visitors constantly clawed their way back without fail.

Ultimately, it was a hard-fought game for United, but fans will surely see it as two points dropped given their team’s superior performance on the night.

Still, the final scoreline is not the only area of frustration for some United players.

The Mainoo dilemma

Kobbie Mainoo has constantly struggled to get minutes under manager Ruben Amorim, and tonight was no exception.

Amorim decided to bring the youngster on as a substitute, yet he only came on in the 61st minute.

Sadly, this has been a recurring problem for him, with Mainoo yet to start a Premier League match this season.

But while this might frustrate the player, it seems that his family members have also been affected by his lack of playing time.

Mainoo’s brother breaks his silence

Mainoo’s brother Jordan was present at Old Trafford for United’s thrilling clash, but it seems that he is unhappy with Amorim for his treatment of the 20 year old.

As shown in a photo shared on X by freelance journalist Aadam Haladh, Jordan Mainoo was wearing a black t-shirt with a basic yet blunt message: “Free Kobbie Mainoo.”

While Mainoo has constantly been linked with a transfer away from United, he has so far been quiet about his feelings at the club.

Still, with his brother making a vocal statement with his t-shirt, it appears that Mainoo could be running out of patience if he shares his family member’s feelings.
