Sport Bild claims the relationship between 1. FC Köln forward Said El Mala and coach Lukas Kwasniok is strained, and that he has told club bosses he could consider a summer move to Brighton & Hove Albion.
So far this season, El Mala has started nine of Köln’s 21 Bundesliga matches.

Minor issues are said to have fuelled the tension, including public comments, misunderstood jokes and a sense he has not been given enough starts.
Despite frustration, the forward reportedly accepts Kwasniok’s selections to avoid unsettling the squad.
The 19-year-old attacker is viewed as a rising talent at 1. FC Köln.
