Vincent Kompany says there is a chance Harry Kane will feature against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, though a starting berth is not guaranteed.

According to BuLi News, the Bayern Munich striker returned to team training on Monday after missing the 4-1 win at Borussia Mönchengladbach last week.

He was named in the squad for Tuesday’s meeting with Atalanta, yet Bayern kept him on the bench throughout a 6-1 victory.

Since then the 32-year-old has trained consistently. At Friday’s press conference Kompany addressed his involvement.

"There's a chance he'll play tomorrow," Kompany said.

"He's had a full week of training. We haven't taken any risks with him. Even with an 11-point lead, we can't afford to relax. If Harry is fit, he'll play. We'll gather more information on him today."

Kane has scored 30 goals in 24 Bundesliga matches this season.
