Konyaspor host Galatasaray in the Süper Lig at Konya Büyükşehir Stadyumu on Saturday, 21 February 2026, with the leaders looking to tighten their grip on top spot and the hosts seeking breathing space above the relegation places.
Galatasaray have dominated this fixture in recent seasons, winning 3-1 in September and 5-1 away in the Türkiye Kupası last April, while Konyaspor's last home league win in the head to head came in March 2023. Aslan arrive as clear favourites on the balance of those meetings.
Form backs that up. Konyaspor are winless in their last five league matches, drawing three and losing two. Aslan have won four straight in the league and are coming off a statement 5-2 victory over Juventus in Europe.
Selection could matter. Konyaspor are without suspended defender Guilherme Haubert Sitya and injured midfielder Ufuk Akyol. For the visitors, Victor Osimhen is injured and Metehan Baltacı is suspended, but Mauro Icardi leads the line with 13 league goals, while Barış Yılmaz has a league-high nine assists.
The match-up tilts towards control by the visitors. Aslan have scored 55 and conceded only 15 in the league, with 62% possession and 87.99% passing accuracy, plus nine clean sheets. Konyaspor have netted 25, conceded 35 and kept three clean sheets, so their defence may be stretched if Icardi is supplied early and often.
A home win would lift Konyaspor to 23 points and could nudge them further from the relegation zone. Three points would take Aslan to 58 and strengthen their position at the summit in the title race.
