Maurice Kratternmacher got his first goal for Hertha Berlin to beat Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Maurice Kratternmacher got his first goal for Hertha Berlin on his 10th Bundesliga 2 outing for the capital club in spectacular fashion, firing in the winner in the sixth minute of added time to beat Fortuna Düsseldorf 1-0. He and Hertha are again in action on Tuesday night with their DFB Cup tie against Elversberg.

Kusi-Asare makes Premier League debut

Jonah Kusi-Asare is on loan at Fulham in England and represents Sweden at U21 level.

After joining Fulham on loan at the start of September, Jonah Kusi-Asare was handed his debut in England’s Premier League. The 18-year-old forward, who represents Sweden at U21 level, came on shortly before the end of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Newcastle United.

Alexander Nübel is in DFB Cup action for Stuttgart on Wednesday.

Alexander Nübel continues to enjoy plenty of playing time at VfB Stuttgart. The goalkeeper may have been beaten by a Nadiem Amiri penalty in the first half of Sunday’s game at home to Mainz, but he then played a crucial part in Stuttgart’s winner with his ball long for Deniz Undav to chip in and claim a 2-1 victory. It’s the second time this season Nübel has provided an assist. Stuttgart’s DFB Cup game on Wednesday is a reversal of their weekend Bundesliga fixture as they go to Mainz.

Zaragoza getting minutes

Bryan Zaragoza was loaned out to Celta Vigo in the summer.

Bryan Zaragoza featured from the off in two games last week. The Spanish winger played 78 minutes in Thursday’s 2-1 win over Nice in the Europa League before getting another 75 minutes of action in Sunday’s La Liga encounter with Osasuna. He had four attempts on goal as his side came from 2-1 down to win 3-2.

Noël Aséko Nkili’s Hannover go to Elversberg on Friday.

Noël Aséko Nkili made his eighth start of the Bundesliga 2 season and played 58 minutes as Hannover ran out 3-0 winners away at local rivals Eintracht Braunschweig on Sunday. The Bayern loanee had two shots, set up one for a teammate and completed 80 percent of his passes.

Hennig plays his part

Maximilian Hennig and Hartberg are in the last 16 of the Austrian Cup on Tuesday.

Maximilian Hennig made his 13th appearance of the season for Hartberg at the weekend, playing 81 minutes and providing an assist for Dominik Prokop to make it 2-0 in the Austrian Bundesliga game against Altach. However, the game ended 2-2 after the 19-year-old was taken off.
