Kylian Mbappé and Ibrahima Konaté were both absent from France training on Tuesday, having also missed Monday’s session at Clairefontaine.
Mbappé arrived for the international camp with a minor injury, having come off during Real Madrid’s last game before the international break with an ankle issue. Didier Deschamps confirmed the injury, but added that it was nothing major and wouldn’t prevent him from playing a part against Azerbaijan or Iceland, both of whom Les Bleus will face in World Cup qualifiers in the next week.
The France captain was absent from Tuesday’s session, as was Liverpool centre-back Konaté, who has a minor quadriceps injury. Deschamps will hope to have them involved before Les Bleus’ match against Azerbaijan on Friday night.
AS Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche was another absentee from Tuesday’s session. The forward, with Les Bleus for the second time, was seen participating in an individual session, away from his teammates.
