Mbappé gains the upper hand over PSG

Kylian Mbappé forces PSG to yield
The dispute between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé is entering its final phase. Ordered in December 2025 by the Paris labor tribunal to pay €60.9 million to their former striker, the club had initially settled €55 million covering unpaid salaries and bonuses. That left a remaining sum of €5.9 million, corresponding to paid leave and interest.
According to L’Équipe, PSG has finally paid four of the nearly six million still owed, following the intervention of a bailiff mandated by the Real Madrid player. Now, only about €1.9 million remains to be settled to definitively close this case.
At the same time, the club would like Mbappé to forgo the court-ordered requirement to publish the full judgment for a month on the homepage of its official website. This last sticking point is prolonging a legal saga that has left a lasting mark on relations between the two parties.
