Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé this week overtook a fellow member of the attacking ranks in Spain’s capital on the club’s all-time goalscorer list.

The teammate in question? Rodrygo.

Frontman Mbappé is for his part of course fresh off another goalscoring performance on Wednesday night.

Featuring from the off in Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Athletic Club, the Frenchman proved himself the star of the show.

This came by way of a brace, either side of an assist for compatriot Eduardo Camavinga.

And as alluded to above, in the process, Mbappé continued his climb up the all-time goalscoring charts at the Bernabéu.

Despite having been plying his trade in Spain for less than a season-and-a-half now, the 26-year-old has found the net 69 times in Real Madrid colours.

This, incredibly, is one more than managed by teammate Rodrygo, who is for his part in the midst of a 31-game scoreless streak across all competitions.
