La Coma Corner has emerged as a gathering spot for CD Castellón supporters, set opposite the new Ciudad Deportiva de Borriol and decked out with flags and a banner reading "This is not Anfield but you never walk alone. Som albinegres, som del Castelló".
According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the operators aim to offer daily support to the squad, say the slogan has been warmly received and believe seeing it before training gives players an extra lift.
Weeks earlier, fans held a first meet-up to rally the team before the Eibar match at SkyFi Castalia. Supporters turned out and provided an early extra jolt of motivation ahead of a decisive tie with play-off qualification at stake.
The restaurant overlooks training sessions, allowing diners to watch the players up close. It is complemented by a food offering and a kitchen and front-of-house team focused on quality.
On Saturday, Pablo Hernández’s side host Almería at their Avenida Benicàssim ground and another big atmosphere is expected, as with every game this season. The promotion dream remains very much alive at Castellón, and at La Coma Corner they are asking whether it could indeed happen, and intend to keep cheering to the end.
