Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner says he will have to be “creative” with his team selection in defence after Maxence Lacroix was forced off injured in the draw with Zrinjski Mostar.
Palace drew 1-1 in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first leg of their Europa League play-off.
But Lacroix was forced off in the second half, adding to boss Glasner’s injury worries at the back.
“I don’t know the level but it’s the adductor, and when it’s the muscle and you have to make a substitution due to a muscle problem it’s never a good sign,” Glasner said.
“Hopefully it’s not too bad. Chadi Riad had cramp at the end, coming back from more than one year with injury and playing every three and four days.
“Jefferson Lerma is out, Mitchell is maybe an option. Now we have to be very creative to find the right players for these positions.”
Glasner said defensive mistakes were also to blame for his side’s inability to secure victory.
“It was, against Burnley, the same,” he said. “Controlling the game, having the lead and then we make two easy mistakes.”
