He has been doing that at the highest level at Bayern for years. In the national team, Joshua would also have the greatest value in the center. But I don’t see him as a stopgap solution on the right either. He is a world-class player, even on the wing,“ said the ex-defensive player, who currently acts as a consultant for VfB Stuttgart

According to Lahm, you can „compensate for the lack of specialists if you have a framework with five to six regular players who harmonize with each other. I can’t see this framework so far.“ That’s why he believes the German team can do something at the World Cup, but not the big one.
