Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Saturday continued to etch his name into the club’s fabled history books.

This comes owing to his efforts in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.

Hansi Flick’s troops were of course back in action a short time ago, making the trip to Bilbao for a La Liga meeting with Athletic Club.

When all was said and done in a hard-fought affair, Barcelona emerged on the right side of a 1-0 result, to reestablish their four-point lead atop the table.

And it was the aforementioned Lamine Yamal who proved himself difference maker.

Slipped in down the right during the 2nd-half at San Mamés, the 18-year-old cut inside onto his trusty left foot before directing a sumptuous effort home off the far post.

And in the process, Lamine continued his ascent up the all-time goalscoring charts in Catalunya’s capital.

As per statistician Fran Martinez on ‘X’:

’44 goals by Lamine Yamal with Barcelona. Ties (Johan) Neeskens and is now among the top 60 goalscorers in Barcelona’s HISTORY.’
