LAPORTA leads Luz de Gas title party after clásico win | OneFootball

Joan Laporta celebrated Barcelona's 29th Liga title at Luz de Gas after a clásico win over Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou sealed a standout season for Hansi Flick's side.

His arrival at the city nightspot was symbolic, he belted out the club anthem with his fist raised, surrounded by supporters in blaugrana shirts.

He uncorked champagne and lit his customary victory cigar as fans joined the chants he led, among them the bouncy anti-Madridista refrain and the classic champions chorus.

The night carried the familiar flavour of past Laporta celebrations, toasts, hugs and crowd singalongs, and he was accompanied by close confidants, including Xavi Puig, the director responsible for the women's team.

"It is a spectacle. Who would have said it two years ago? We would. We knew, we were convinced we would do it," he said after leaving the venue shortly after three in the morning, speaking to SPORT.

The festivities continue on Monday from 17.00 with a parade through Barcelona that starts and ends at the Spotify Camp Nou, and Laporta is sure to be alongside the squad.
