Chelsea face Arsenal in the EFL Cup semi final second leg tomorrow night, but the game comes so hot on the heels of the win over West Ham at the weekend that Liam Rosenior’s presser was done directly after his post-match from that game.
That is bad news for those of us who want up to date injury news. Rosenior spoke a little about Estevao Willian, who wasn’t in the squad for that game.

Liam Rosenior speaking on TNT Sport.
“I don’t know yet [how long he will be out]. With Este, he’s a young kid who’s come and been magnificent,” the Chelsea manager said.
“He’s going through a really difficult time for personal reasons and he’s on compassionate leave. I won’t put any pressure on him. It has to be right for him and he has to feel he’s in the right place to perform for this team.” Rosenior concluded.
There was another negative, and equally as vague, update on Jamie Gittens, another winger. He limped off midway through the first half against the Hammers, and we don’t yet have any more information about that.
“Jamie unfortunately felt his hamstring, I don’t know the extent of the injury,” Rosenior said in quotes on the club’s official website.
We won’t find out any more until tomorrow’s post game presser.
Chelsea have not done much business this window, but are lining up an outgoing move for David Datro Fofana, who could join out sister club Strasbourg in Ligue 1 after they lost their striker Emmanuel Emegha to another injury.
The biggest potential incoming move for the Blues was Jeremy Jacquet, who now is on his way to Liverpool it seems. That’s a blow for us, and anyone who wanted us to sign the bright young talent.
