Lazio have confirmed Pedro sustained a significant ankle injury against Bologna, the Spain international carried off on a stretcher in the first half.

He twisted his right ankle in an awkward challenge and could not continue. Lazio later won the tie on penalties.

Subsequent tests showed a sprain-contusion with partial involvement of the external ankle ligaments.
