Lazio are reshaping key areas of their squad, wrapping up two signings while also opening discussions over the future of first-choice goalkeeper Ivan Provedel.
Daniel Maldini is set to become the latest attacking addition.
The trequartista has already undergone medical tests in Rome and is expected to put pen to paper before linking up with Maurizio Sarri’s squad. Lazio hope he can be available as early as this week, adding creativity and depth behind the forwards.

Between the posts, the club have secured a more long-term investment with the arrival of Edoardo Motta from Reggiana.
The 2005-born goalkeeper joins on a permanent deal and is expected to slot in as Provedel’s deputy once Christos Mandas completes his anticipated move to Bournemouth.
Motta is regarded as one of the more promising young keepers in Serie B, known for his physical presence and comfort playing out from the back, traits Lazio value highly.

Despite the changes around him, Provedel remains central to the project. Interest from other clubs has not altered his stance, and Lazio have now begun preliminary talks over a contract extension, as per Goal.
His current deal runs until 2027, but the intention is to secure greater long-term stability in a position the club considers crucial.
