League chief salutes FC Porto: “A title sealed, now duly celebrated”

Reinaldo Teixeira, president of Liga Portugal, congratulated FC Porto on winning the Primeira Liga. After the 1-0 victory over Santa Clara, the head of the organization also highlighted president André Villas-Boas:

“Liga Portugal congratulates FC Porto on winning the national championship title. A triumph that had already been secured, but today was officially marked with a vibrant celebration. Congratulations once again to the entire Porto family, particularly to André Villas-Boas, who wins his first national championship title since taking over the club’s presidency.”
