Leeds United have an agreement to sign Wales international Harry Wilson on a free transfer, subject to a medical and paperwork, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.

The winger came close to joining last summer before Fulham reversed course on deadline day. Fulham then exercised an option to keep him for 2025/26 and, although he declined a new contract, he remained at Craven Cottage.

Wilson produced 10 goals and seven assists in the Premier League, helping Fulham finish 11th, just a point short of European football.

Across all competitions he recorded 11 goals and seven assists and, under Marco Silva, was described as hitting his peak for Fulham, with notable long-range, solo and counter-attacking goals.

Wilson viewed his next contract as a major step in his career and Fulham were unable to convince him to stay amid Silva’s departure. There was a suggestion he might wait to see the new head coach, but he has decided to move on this summer.

Leeds faced strong competition for his signature. He would be the first arrival of the Elland Road window once the formalities are completed.
