Leeds linked with move for Tabakovic | OneFootball

Haris Tabakovic has attracted interest from Leeds United, according to a report from Bild.

Having scored 13 goals in 30 competitive matches for Borussia Mönchengladbach on loan from Hoffenheim this season, the 31-year-old has also been linked with a move to OSC Lille.

As things stand, Tabakovic is expected to return to Hoffenheim in the summer, with Gladbach unlikely to pay the €5 million transfer fee demanded by their Bundesliga rivals for the forward.

“There are no talks,” Tabakovic said following Gladbach’s 2-2 draw with 1. FC Heidenheim at the weekend.

“If no discussions are taking place, I don’t need to worry. I still have a year left on my contract with Hoffenheim. For me, it’s about performing in the remaining six games and doing my part to help us stay in the league.”

Tabakovic is also a Bosnia & Herzegovina international, having scored four goals in 10 appearances for his country.
