Leeds United are set for a second season back in the Premier League, with the 2026/27 campaign scheduled from Saturday, August 22 to Sunday, May 30, the final-day fixtures to kick off simultaneously. It will start one week later than 2025-26 to allow for 89 clear days after this season’s end and 33 days from the World Cup 2026 final. The final day falls a week before the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, June 5.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the full fixture list will be released on Friday, June 19 at 10am, less than four weeks after the season ended.

The season concluded on Sunday, May 24. Leeds finished 14th, eight points above the drop, securing safety with three matches to spare.

A nine-match unbeaten league run ended on the final day with a 3-1 defeat at West Ham, whose victory did not prevent relegation.

The 2026/27 schedule is set to comprise 33 weekends and five midweek rounds, and to avoid clashes with UEFA club competition dates where possible.

Across Christmas and New Year, no two match rounds will be staged within 60 hours, in line with commitments to ease festive congestion within the expanded international calendar.
