Leeds sign off at Elland Road on Sunday against Brighton, with injuries shaping both squads. Farke’s side secured survival after West Ham lost to Arsenal, then drew 1-1 at Tottenham on Monday.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Noah Okafor, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Ilia Gruev were already expected to miss that trip, while there were surprise absences and a fresh knock during the game. Leeds hope to stretch their Premier League unbeaten run to eight.

Brighton remain without Stefanos Tzimas, who has been sidelined since early December with an ACL injury and has undergone surgery, so his season is over.

Adam Webster has not played this season following a summer ACL issue, and though he is back on the grass, a return in the final two games looks unlikely.

Kaoru Mitoma appeared to pick up a hamstring problem against Wolves last weekend. If it is muscular he would miss Sunday, with scans yet to confirm.

Diego Gomez, 23, suffered a knee injury against Tottenham almost a month ago, and head coach Fabian Hurzeler did not rule him out for Wolves, which suggests he will be assessed closer to the trip north.

Mats Wieffer missed out late at Wolves after an ankle issue sustained in the 3-1 defeat at Newcastle, and he will be checked later in the week.

For Leeds, Ilia Gruev remains sidelined with a meniscus injury suffered before last month’s 2-2 draw at Bournemouth, with Farke indicating a pre-season return.
