Leeds United’s 1-0 pre-season win over Sunderland has been followed by a refreshed bookmakers’ predicted final Premier League table for 2026-27.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the new market points to a Leeds rise and revised calls elsewhere in the division.
The sides met in New Jersey in the early hours of Friday morning UK time. An early Lukas Nmecha strike sealed Leeds’ first win of the summer.
Both clubs were newly back in last season’s top flight and avoided the drop, unlike Championship runners-up Burnley. Sunderland finished 7th and qualified for the Europa League, seven places and seven points ahead of Leeds. Leeds ended 14th, safe with three matches to spare.
The updated odds project Arsenal to finish 1st, priced 7-4, with Manchester City 2nd at 10-3. Liverpool are 3rd at 6-1.
Chelsea are up to 4th from 5th and 8-1. Manchester United slip to 5th from 4th at 9-1, with Tottenham Hotspur 6th at 28-1. The reshaped market also includes fresh calls on Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Everton.
