Leeds United confirm Elland Road friendly against RB Leipzig as pre-season schedule takes shape

Leeds United have confirmed their first home pre-season fixture, hosting RB Leipzig at Elland Road on Saturday, August eight, with a two pm kick-off. Leipzig finished third in the Bundesliga in 2025/26, qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.

The Leipzig match is the fourth of five friendlies and is scheduled after the squad return from their United States tour.

Leeds start in the United States, facing Wrexham in Tampa on July 25, Sunderland in New Jersey on July 30 and Liverpool in Chicago on August two.

They then head to Dublin to meet Manchester United at Croke Park on August 12.

The Premier League campaign opens at Nottingham Forest on August 22, and United are expected to announce a second and final home friendly in the week before that game.
