Opta’s supercomputer has delivered a last forecast of the Premier League standings as Leeds United visit relegation-battling West Ham on the final day. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds are already safe.

Their survival was sealed with three games remaining after Arsenal’s 1-0 win at West Ham. The hosts now must beat Leeds and hope Tottenham lose at home to Everton. Given West Ham’s poor goal difference, only two sets of results would keep the third-bottom Irons up.

Despite a stack of injuries, Leeds travel on an eight-game unbeaten league run and could still finish as high as 11th. They begin the day 14th, two points behind Newcastle United, Everton and Fulham in 11th, 12th and 13th, and two clear of 15th-placed Crystal Palace.

Two of those sides meet as Fulham host Newcastle, while Palace are at home to newly crowned champions Arsenal. Everton visit fourth-bottom Tottenham, for whom a point would realistically secure safety.

A Leeds victory at West Ham would take them to 50 points. The model has Arsenal first on 84, Manchester City second on 80, Manchester United third on 69, Aston Villa fourth on 63, Liverpool fifth on 61 and Bournemouth sixth on 58.
