Leeds United handed extra Wembley tickets for Chelsea semi-final

Leeds United have received a small extra allocation of FA Cup semi-final tickets for their meeting with Chelsea at Wembley.

The club said in a statement that Wembley had provided a limited number of additional seats, so the members’ ballot would run again this afternoon, with successful applicants to be notified by close of business today, 22 April. The tie kicks off at three pm on Sunday, 26 April.

There has been a scramble for tickets among supporters keen to see the club at the semi-final stage for the first time since 1987.

Before that trip, Daniel Farke’s side visit the Vitality Stadium to face AFC Bournemouth tonight, 22 April.

A win over the Cherries would be another significant stride towards Premier League safety. The Whites are eight points clear of 18th-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
